My Son Today He is waiting for me. Maybe. I am not sure he knows, I am coming. We don’t say that to him, Until we know… It is okay. Visiting day. The hospitals the needles the places no one sees, Freeze your inside from the outside and you never thaw. What is the hardest thing, the suffering…? On them, or us? Heroes, champions, strong sons and daughters of a Mighty King, All better able than I to sing, when life brings jello, and empty faithless TV. Running games, laughing friends, places to go, and be… Free………….. No.

This makes me sad for it portrays so well children in hospitals everywhere and parents who are suffering because of it.

When I go to see my kid, I see them all. You can not see just one. They are all ours... or rather HIS.... It breaks my heart down... I see parents again and again... they become, unasked for ...accident friends...that become angels to support each other... and two are more are gathered.... Amen

You are kind. Thank you for dropping by. I love your poems. You make this look easy. I am glad you enjoyed this. It is sadly too real... and too close... Ann
