My Reflection Left Today
My reflection left today
Shook its head and turned and walked away
Sick of always following
Tired of being someone else
My Shadow followed next
Unhappy never having form or shape
never sitting in the suns full glare
I sit before my mirror
Try to recreate the person i once had been
And my mind inside rebels
No memories or thoughts will it allow to share
The heart inside pools all my blood to try to end its days
The tears that stream down my face
Just escaping from my gaze
The Soul returns to laugh and point
At the nothingness i have become
