My Rebirth To Life

Once, love abused of my innocence Love thrashed and bullied me with its disgrace Love even cheated on my trust Love, did so, because I chose to let it do so Finally, one day, I sat and stared at myself in my mirror Thought I to myself, is it all I am worth of in this world Does my soul deserve such sort of treatment, why Would it not be better to close this chapter on love, forever So, though I became dull and I struggled for a while I did see all that I had chosen to be blind to previously Life, with its many avenues, with its many opportunities Life, with its glorious faith, with its promise of Heaven even Life, with its diverse poetry Life, beautiful, it is, when the door to love I chose to shut and keep locked Life, more beautiful even, with the promise of divine love The one unconditional and unique, so rare and so longed by all Why, love had been to me, a heartache Love, had been to me, openly fake Love, I did take the keys of its locked door and I threw it down Down, down, to where no one will be able to find it, down in the obscure ocean! 27 March 2016
