I love You, Jesus You are my rock, my grace Salvation from a hell that is darker Than any night, any doubt, any fear You saved me, made a way for me Through the worst shadows, the tears That come to those who search and search For the light that is Your life, the LIGHT That is Your grace, the LIGHT that makes a way Through the shadows, through the pain, Through the feelings that taunt and shame. I love You, Jesus You are the meaning of hope, the meaning of joy, The meaning of kindness and grace and insight. You bring hope to the hopeless You bring joy to the heart who is broken You bring kindness to the aching, the grief stricken You bring grace to the one who believes You bring insight into the miracle of Your love You bring wisdom, security and a LIGHT That stirs the heart and soul to a faith that is alive, A faith so very bold that it knows… Wherever I’ve been and wherever I go, Whatever I’ve done – despite my sins and my doubts, You silence the sorrows and wipe away all my tears, Fill my soul with comfort that reassures and inspires, Brings me through the darkest troubles, lifting Me so that I know, with You – I have a love that is alive, Tested by time – this love survives the darkest night, Silences every trace of doubt and remembers to abide Throughout the lost and aching thoughts, throughout This life, throughout all time… I love YOU, JESUS The LIGHT OF MY LIFE, My World, My Meaning, MY REASON
