My Prayer For Today

Undesired developments I’m enduring,
while holding to God’s unchanging hand.
For I know He controls those many things,
which I’m currently unable to understand.
I pray, Lord only if it be your will,
let this cup pass as you’ve done before.
But if not just grant me passage,
from this place and to Heavens door.
