I mowed my lawn in my red Jimmy Choos Now there’s dog poop on my new shoes My lazy neighbor's got an untrained pup It poops on MY lawn - they don’t clean it up! The lawn’s dotted with piles of dog muck I’m gobsmacked in fact I’m dumbstruck So I’ve ordered them a pooper scooper I hope they’ll use it on their pesky pooper Fiction poem - but dog mess is a pet hate of mine! Congrats on your win, Jan. when we were buying our house, the previous owner had one, yes, ONE Labrador. He had clearly de-pooped his lawn for our visit, which he clearly didn’t do often. We arrived slightly early, to find a wheelbarrow all but full of Labrador doo doo in the middle of his back lawn. Terry

Congratulations on your win. A cute write and picture. Shovel it back on their yard. Years ago I had a neighbor with a pretty yard. They would get out of the car and put trash on my yard never taking it into their house. After years, I got mad, put it All Over Their Yard. That ended it. Blessings.............

I've put a container of poop bags by my yard in case somebody 'forgets' to bring a bag, but they still don't use them, so I get it!

Plenty of dog poop in Hawai'i as senior citizens claim they are too old/disabled to clean up after their "service" dog, so you have certainly entered the best-named contest! Winner for sure!

thankfully our neighbours dont have pets so its fiction but dog poop really is one of my pet hates:-( hugs Jan xx

I agree with you Jan, they should be heavily fined, most dog owners I see clean up its just that minority that give responsible owners a bad name. Tom

they do have notices in public areas, but the signs on the lamp posts must be too high for the dogs to read lol:-( hugs Jan xx

It's disgusting, isn't it? Loads of poop allowed to sit on someone else's lawn, yet they'd probably complain if someone else's dog crapped on theirs.

Thankfully its a fiction poem for me and it's not a problem i have at my garden but i do find dog mess in the street totally unacceptable, it really is my 'pet hate' hugs Jan xx
