My Parting Gifts
For Witness Protection, I'm bound.
I have some advice. Gather round.
First tip: When you see
a crime, you must flee.
Call cops. After that make no sound!
Next: Grandkids, your rooms are a sight,
piled ceiling to floor--What a fright!
Now for safety's sake,
when I'm gone please take
a week or so to put them right!
Last, as I am pulled through the door,
I'll hurry. I want to say more:
Show love. Be peacemakers.
Be real; don't be fakers.
Love life and its blessings galore.
