My Mother's Eyes

i have my mother's eyes
                                     they're on my darker side

                                          when a lover says
                                   you're just like your mother

                                        i can hear them roll

Thank you! I don't have her eye coloring, my mother's eyes' a song that's always made me think of her. Despite what my luv(s) may think(thunk), my tongue will never be as sharp as hers ;) xomo!

"I can hear them roll" was so much smarter than anything else you could have said. Smirking now.

I rate this poem 'U.' For u-rise, of course. Wink, wink... (Don't worry now. I'm headed back to my man-cave to brood further...) ~ gw
