My Mother-In-Laws Job
My mother-in-law has a job
And it's very important, indeed
It takes a special kind
Or is it special breed?
The job she does is necessary
To everyone who eats
She has the market cornered
For no one else competes
She's kinda like a security guard
Tho, she never makes much money
She does her job, rain or shine
But prefers it to be sunny
She doesn't really like it much
And, sometimes, she wants to quit
But I'll always just remind her
That no one else can do it
She just hates the funny hat
And the clothes we make her wear
We tell her it's part of her job
But she doesn't seem to care
She says It feels like prison
But she'll never get a pardon
For she's the best we've ever found
To be the scarecrow in our garden
