My Lover's Words
Just when I feel that nothing can assuage
That heat that pulses from my very core
You take me further, further than before
“Oh baby, come for me, and let me give you more”
Unknown to me the powers you evoke
As cataclysmic tremors overtake
My body trembles in the frenzied wake
“Oh baby, cling to me, and let your body quake”
I sigh, I cry, I murmur, and I moan
Unable to control how passion pounds
I bite my lips, as pleasure makes its rounds
“Oh baby, moan for me, I need to hear the sounds”
And when I pause and linger on that height
My world and life and breath all seem to still
There in your eyes I see a lover’s thrill
“Oh baby, wait for me, wait till I get my fill”
Together now, together in release
We lie all spent, immersed in gentle glow
Within your eyes your thoughts are all on show
“Oh baby, lie with me, your love is all I know.”
