My Love

My love can’t be contained It’s grown too full for you My sweet sorrow you will never know After all that we’ve been through Every time you are around I look into your soul But close my eyes to prevent you From seeing the truth in mine This hurts me I’ve known you all my life And shared everything with you My heartbeat, composed of sonnets Sing songs of love for you My heart bursts And sprays emotion on the inside Against my chest , like paint on a canvas You must not lay eyes upon this masterpiece Will I ever know if it would’ve worked? Should I risk telling you, losing you… …our friendship or anything about you? Is this love or pain; I know it’s torture I want things to change, to be the same I know you feel something, I sense it Make a move, I’ll accept Or should I chance it, for fear of waiting forever Perhaps you’re being tortured too
