My Last Poetry Contest Contest
Poetry comes from the heart it is not a contest and cannot be judged as true heart felt poetry, therefore I will no longer enter a contest unless, it is sponsored by Silent One.
Heed and hear I have given my heart to poetry
These sounds and words have reached deaf ears
Without the understanding of my heart felt words
My disappointing comes not from wining or losing but,
From not hearing the true meanings behind my poetry
Miss spelled words or wrong form is what is seen
I have won every contest because of my friends
Their comments make me a winner so,
I have no need of poetry contest
