My Imaginary World
Stuck in my imaginary world
Is it a rut now or a choice?
Who can pull me out?
Will I go kicking and screaming?
I shall sing the blues.
But no, better yet.
I shall sing the oranges.
My favorite color, new notes, unique ones.
I am living in this fantasy,
Being myself in the best way ever
Should my melody match my melancholy?
Wait. It’s not the blues. It’s the oranges.
I sing my song
Living the life of me
Cherishing this fantasy world.
It is my choice, right?
