My Home

I am a human of the world's green dome Wherever I move universe is my home The stars of the dark canvas night sky Shines my home thoroughly without lie The dancing moonlit of the far alone orbit Enlighten my home with pleasing greet Divine face of the rising sun in solar center Leads my home as the house of light power Summer to springtime all seasons are Comfortable because my home is there Wood, port to port, mountains to oceans I’m blessed because my home is a wide lane Universe- nature is my home And I’m a child in its care Hitherto thither enjoy pretty My home is my mother February 27, 2023 Writing Challenge -H Words - Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Constance La France
