My Heart Is Shattered
'Let Him Who Is Without Sin Cast the First Stone.’
The Bible, John 8:7

I have a great sadness deep within me,
there is a disappointment in my soul;
I am weeping with tears to fill a sea,
for a person who it is said- has stole.
Many say they know for sure of the guilt,
and if true that is sadly a disgrace;
for stolen words, phrases, poems will wilt,
why friend, you have your own words to embrace.
My heart is shattered and lays quite tattered,
I am unsure- I am lost in the dark;
my emotions and feelings are scattered,
I must let go and fly away a lark.
Oh how? My lost friend can I throw a stone;
when no one is perfect if it be known!
