My Frosted Christmas Tree

My frosted tree, so prettily she sparkles in the night. Lit up, she seems to grin at me with brightness and delight. How very happy she must be (at least that's what I guess), for she's dolled up elegantly in a most festive dress. Her many limbs dip jewelry of silver bulbs and blue. A glittering white garland she has draped around her too. On Christmas morning, she will see small children at her feet unwrapping gifts excitedly. Her joy will be complete. This time of sweet felicity lasts just till the new year. But next year I will have my tree appear again with cheer. The simple joy a Christmas tree brings to delight children's faces is enough alone to have a tree for the holiday. I bought my first artificial flocked tree this year and my granddaughters were thrilled to decorate it. I love the scent of pine but hate to see them die. We used to have a real one in a pot, but it grew too large for indoors. You described that delight perfectly Andrea. : ) xxoo

Very sweet - I enjoyed it, Andrea. Just finished our tree last night with Billy, Kyle and Tim's help, oh - the cats were of great assistance also. This poem of Christmas simplicity speaks to its joyous images as shared by many. Love you ... CayCay

Lovely Andrea. I love my tree too but mine is artificial because I don't want to kill a beautiful tree. It's great to decorate a living one in the yard though. Loved this. God Bless and Merry Christmas to you and yours. JB

My girl is artificial too! I take minutes to bring her out of the closet each year and turn her on. heehee. (I exaggerated how great she looks but I really love blue/silver tones)
