My Forest

In the forest of my dreams, I would be tall and thin. There would be happiness and love, flying like beautiful white doves. When the forest opens up for all to see, the castle that was built just for me. Lovely spring flowers fill the grounds, pretty birds sing to the top of their tiny lungs. In the forest of my dreams, I would hide away from all who do not care. I would live in peace and love, write and live just for me. Maybe there is a forest of my dreams, oh heaven I do wait and wish as I dream. Date Written: 4/13/2021
