My First Car

My First car
I bought my first car; a Burnt golden Daf
An automatic vehicle that did not cut a dash
The seats folded flat
We could make use of that
But when the brake failed, we hit the stream with a splash.

To celebrate the very first car seems like a great idea for a contest! A mighty fine limerick, Mandy. It just might steal the show! Gwendolen
