Well, this is not the best poem I've ever written, but for this one time I frankly don't care. I only want to wish all my Poetry Soup friends the very best holidays. I am not going to name any names, because I am afraid I might forget someone, accidentally hurt anyone. SO.... here's to my friends, you know who you are :)
My favourite plate
A mix of tastes
A soup of savoury and sweet
Partly easy to digest
A playful sensory fest
Some dishes swallowed
whole and fast
Others linger on the tongue
And will last
An evening long
My favourite soup
is all around
My colourful friends
The exhileration to have found
This poetry lovers group
