Roundel
A roundel created by Algernon Charles Swinburne, is a form of verse used in poetry. A roundel consists of nine lines each having the same number of syllables, plus a refrain after the third line and after the last line.
Roundel's have three stanzas and its rhyme scheme is as follows:
A B A (R) (refrain)
B A B
A B A (R) (refrain)

I secretly dreaded this day could come fearing fate would select you to die first you got ill and fought hard not to succumb. My eternal grief. It wasn't obvious who felt the worst our moods flipped from optimistic to glum, Death haunted our hearts, and we felt cursed. Beyond pain my heart feels empty and numb this tragic scene was played out unrehearsed and left a sadness...I can't overcome. My eternal grief. I cannot fathom living without you for you're the only thing worth living for, I sincerely wish that I could die too. My eternal grief. Nothing feels real since you stepped through Death's door and though I've cried countless tears...I'm not through, for I've never felt so alone before. Faith says we'll meet again, I pray that's true so we'll be together forevermore, but until then...love colors my heart blue. My eternal grief.
