Quote: "You’re worth every mile between us.” — Unknown Once the friends we were, We laughed together, we cried together, We played together, we dreamt together, We enjoyed good times together; we overcame the bad times together. Now that we live miles away, I think of you, think of our times together, Should distance ever matter? Because you are in my heart forever. Sometimes when I feel lonely, I get swept away by the memory of your friendship, You were a friend in need, a friend indeed, You made my nightmare and sorrows vanish with ease. When you were near, I never said how good friend you were, Even now from a distance, I do not need words to describe it, The language of friendship is not words, but its meanings, It is a feeling which does not require explaining.

"The language of friendship is not words, but its meanings, It is a feeling which does not require explaining." So very right. True friends are our greatest assets..... but they don't need the proclamation that they are our friends A true friend is not acknowledged through words, but through the way we trust them, feel happy in their presence and relate to them. True friendship is open and sincere and without spoken words, it confirms itself. We meet many people, but only a few stay within us as friends. Congratulations on your win dear Jay ji!

I identify with your words, Jay, for I have a friend whom I've known since we were eight years old...we've been through a lot together. Suddenly two years ago, she moved to another state. Although I miss her physical presence, our friendship remains as does the memories you mentioned. This is such a heartfelt and sincere outpouring of your heart & soul. I enjoyed it. Have a great evening, Sara

Hello Jay, your heartfelt poem beautifully captures the essence of true friendship transcending distance. I just loved the nostalgic tone and sincere emotions showing the enduring bond we share with those who hold a special place in our hearts. I really liked how your words express that distance cannot diminish the connection forged by genuine friendship. - Blessings, Daniel
