My Days End
Dripping water
Dripping blood
Laying in this now cold bath
Life is ebbing slowly away
As the colour from me fades
To a sickly shade of whitish grey
I have longed for this moment
I have yearned for this numb pain
Dreaming of the light growing dim
And the end of my days
Signifying an end to all this suffering
I cannot see away through this
As my blood clots upon the floor
And in this blissful tranquil moment
Someone kicks opens the door
And says I am here to save you
So don't worry you are quite safe now
It felt like an arrow through my heart
And as they left to ring for help
I slid under and drowned
Because it's my life and I decide when and how
It ends I am determined it ends now.
