My Bird

My Bird A bird of sadness hovers Mostly circles Sometimes lands It's always been there It's my bird Or maybe, I'm it's man I know I'll never lose it It's my fate I understand Sad destiny is painful if you're smart enough I am It's arrogance to think, I think that this is only mine But sad to think of others, with their buzzards marking time If wishes could be horses, then the beggers all could ride If I could just be someone else, I couldn't be I tried.
