My Apology
I never had the courage to tell you,
That I regret how much we changed;
And how much I truly hate the fact,
That the two of us are now estranged;
You deserved so much more from me,
Then I ever had to give;
And I hope that you’ll someday forgive me,
For the life I chose to live.
