My Apologies

MY APOLOGIES
Not everybody understands me or my preference
Not everybody knows why I do what I do in essence
I explain to nobody bcos it wouldn't make sense
I'm just responsible to my conscience
It doesn't mater if I did it in your presence

I stomach many things
Some could have saved me
Some could have maimed me
Some even escaped me
Some I just delayed

Sorry I didn't do that which I ought to
Sorry I sound like I ought not to
Sorry for the way I made it all go
I'm sorry I made the feel grow so low

I take responsibility for all
My error and my flaw
In my deed I might have flopped
So clearly they are spread on the floor
Pardon me tigress, don't devour my fur

I may not be able to correct my past
My wrongs stare at me like a cast
Splashing hot on me like a blast
I wish you could make this die so fast
And never make me feel like an outcast.
