Musing Reverie
I came to the beach at dawn,
the sky was still a soft gray;
to the endless crashing waves I was drawn,
as my heart was full of worry and dismay.
I needed to connect with muse,
'cause my life was crumbling and I had the blues;
and I had everything I treasured to lose,
I wanted to linger in my thoughts and dwell.
To deeply contemplate my present living hell,
sadly, I had no one to listen or tell;
so, I meditated until the gray was gone,
for a decision had to be made today;
to spend one more day in my situation- I refuse,
but finding no answer- my tears fell.
