Significance of the heart centre
The heart centre is called the Anahata, symbolised by the Star of David. There are three chakras below (root, sacral, plexus) and three above (throat, third eye, crown). Once the divine energy called kundalini rises from root to crown, it again descends into the heart, where union of polarities results in ineffable bliss in permanence.

Born free, we remain unbound, if we choose
Look now at mind body, without excuse
Endowed with senses five, mind and our heart
On an as is where is basis, thus start
Freedom and bliss, the purpose of our muse
We look around, at the world of transience
Feel helpless in fierce winds and turbulence
We would, if we could, be in centred calm
Ignorant to where lies, the healing balm
In despair silent, in void of silence
Having surrendered thoughts and senses five
Deep into cave of our heart, we do dive
Whereupon caressed by the joy current
Slowly awakens our love sentiment
All nodes within, to music of soul jive
Our loving heart spacial and toroidal
Centre of form, viewed geometrical
Three chakras are below and three above
The Star of David; our loving peace dove
Dwelling within, behold Gods miracle
Suffice to mention, heart centre births bliss
Rapture in renewal, divine caress
As we align therein with our conscience
Becoming love enabled in permanence
Nestled in tranquil calm, nothing amiss
Oh hermit! Know that love alone is real
Heart lotus blooms, allowing us to feel
Gods presence within, as we be so breathed
Negate now, oh hermit, ego borne greed
Blissful compassion has boundless appeal
