Muse In Freedom
I walked through the desert looking for my muse, on barren land so dry
Sand stinging in the wind, across the cliffs, beneath the sky
I walked through the woods looking for my muse, on dampened moss and sinking ground
Lost in trees all looking the same, in every direction around
I walked empty roads with no-one passing by, on pavement cracked beneath my feet
There seemed to be no signs, directing where to turn on any street
Then, I came across a golden field, wide open, welcoming me
On a parting path from footsteps, there was my muse, it had been free
