Muse

My muse is like a distant star Its twinkle is an inspirational glow Though my muse seems very far It's in the galaxy of my mind you know Sometimes my muse will disappear And I'll search the sky for its gleam But I won't find it anywhere Maybe only in my dreams But my muse will always return And then the ink will start to flow To give me words for which I yearn and make the stanzas grow and grow 1-2-2023

Yes, this I believe all could relate to. I think the galaxy of my mind may have been hit by an asteroid... or maybe it was a comet lol. I enjoyed your poem as always Joseph.

"It's in the galaxy of my mind you know." Smiling at you. :) I think this is where my muse is right now. Of course, she'll return to reality, when she's ready. Your "muse" has created another Masterpiece. Words are shining brightly, indeed. :) Hugs, Brandy

Excellent description of your muse, Joseph. Gosh, I've written about mine so often through the years, I don't have a clue how to write an original new poem for this challenge.

Your muse shines in rhymes in this lovely poem, Joseph. Though moody, it likes the realm of poetic words.
