Murder Mystery
Between the snow and clouds cover
City light sets the silver scene
For the million blackest stars
Pouring overhead
The inverse Milky Way
Their feathers offer soundtrack
As though Beethoven's wings
Which bring them to alight upon
The winter's leafless trees
Ruffled coal magnolias
Strange foliage indeed
They then commence
Without a ruckus
Cooing softly
One and each
I have waited my whole life
To see this haunting mystery show
I stand for hours
In awe
Agape
Till my feet just get too cold
