Movement and Rest
A span of sentience
begins with a 'don't know' mind
consciousness moving over
an unknowable landscape.
We progress - we recede,
soon we may come to see
that no-mind
is a wave moving in and out
of itself.
There are two glass towers
one is as tall as doubt.
the other tower, as tall as faith.
The no-mind continually washes over them
eventually both must crumble,
as sea cliffs do while they give way
to a boundless expanse.
Those tall towers
were wave crests that must rise only to fall,
at the center of that ruin
no-mind is forever still,
forever knowing.

He replied,
"Movement and Rest"
