Notes About The Poem

Mother Nature's Scolding

****

Winter and spring had a fight.
We had 4 inches of snow late last night.
The tulips and daffodils are covered in snow.
Cold winds and temperatures above zero.
Their dear mother said, "You two better play nice!"
"Do not cross me or you'll pay the price."

See, every mother is not warm and cuddly always, some cold shoulders now and then. Love it! Well done.

Debra, I love your imagery and the clever thought of winter and spring like fighting siblings with their mother saying "play nice!" Blessings ~ John

Hi! Darlene, Thanks for taking the time out to comment. It's cold here to we are expecting some bad weather this week. I'm not sure if my daffodils will live as it was down in the teens last night. Have a nice evening. Blessings ~ Debra
