Daughters who love their Mothers, are not afraid to express love.
They go through rough times in life, like a soft hands in a glove.
Especially, in a world that has grown icy callous and exceedingly cold.
A loving daughter, makes her Mother chocolate for her hands, now wrinkled and so very old.
The Mother misses that angelic, little girl and her shining, brunette braids.
And with pride watched her grow, as with dolls in a buggy she played.
She never ever dreamt, that years later, to public office, her daughter would,
be elected!
But knowing her spirit of compassion,, it was no surprise, that by citizens , she was, by a wide margin selected.
Today, both are humble writers on a poetry site, it’s just a natural part of their day.
Both Mother and daughter, God gifted with closeness, in a cornucopia of love ~in His way!
