Morning Surprise
early dawn, darkness gone
sunlight wakes to stretch and yawn
mourning dove, sign of love
soaring in the sky above
morn’s surprise, in her eyes
bluer than the bluest skies
smile so sweet, lips entreat
kisses now the morn replete
warm caress, with finesse
wanton eyes desires express
hold me now, don’t allow
day without a lover’s vow
heart beats race, love’s embrace
takes us to that special place
mourning dove, up above
singing now his song of love
