Morning Frost

Looking out on the frosty fields with no green grass in sight whiteness covers all in view such bleakness through the night But look over there in the sky bright yellow circle shows through really warm glow feel it's effect such radiance feels like all new Such a picture of our lifes when it's cold and frosty blue all our green fully covered up bitten by life's frost no sign of dew But the sunshine is way up there looking down planning it's assault making the frost to vanish away fully beaming from it's endless vault (Some thoughts enjoying bus trip from Glasgow to Perth in Scottish Highlands the other day.)

I enjoyed your poem. Thank you for sharing. I participated liked the last line. I'm hoping the sun will make an appearance here in England soon. :-)

Thanks Joanna, Glad you enjoyed it and I must admit I miss my bus trips due to covid as not been on a bus since it all began as feel it's still unsafe. Nice to meet a fellow Brit on PS, I'm north of the border as checked your bio and see you're in the south of England in the country, I was brought up in the country so I envy you. Thanks again for dropping in. Have a great day, Gordon
