More Thoughts Whilst Walking

Another walking notes half poem What a very nice garden indeed Fresh top soil, new plants Containers pretty and disposable Weed suppressing decorative stone But see those with ragged edges Perennials that have roots from long ago Chosen and permanently placed Slightly too long grass soft to rest on Hedges planted by birds and breeze A ramshackle wall tilting with ease Camelia's fleeting beauty in sight Daisies that say good morning and goodnight Cherry trees leaving confetti signs Of out of sight celebrations Carved initials in trees growing with age Measuring sunflowers day upon day Saving marigold and pansy seeds Never pinching out when potting on Taking cuttings from favourite friends Looked forward to visits from your daffodils Well dressed or discoverable beauty The flower that grows In the crack in the pavement The unexpected forget me nots The unfinished poem Linking flowers to Meandering thoughts And seeing more than is presented
