More Than White Skin

I am more than white skin, my sight never rejects any other color darker or lighter than mine... I hate prejudice, but kindness I share. I am more than white skin, my forefathers came from distant lands, I was often told, to settle in those places... where a great civilization began. People stare and compare with much apparent hostility, I didn't wish to be more than white skin, to be smeared with guilt for the unfairness and cruelty of my kindred, who treated others with scorn. Those bigots, who acted like pirates, had a mind so ungodly and primitive: to kill, separate families who didn't have white skin, and is all too relevant that greed was their objective.... if racism didn't exist, harmony among peoples would bring unification.
