More Than a Flower

snow cropped she raises her head gold bursting through into spring waves promise and awakening leads the way flowers for growth winter’s breath melts into sunlight dormant caress rises sprightly anew turns the tide in hedgerows and greets pastures of plentiful hope once again the daffodil offers its meaning dances with crocus and clover while blackberry blossoms forecast harvest of juicy delight grandma dusts off her cobwebs takes hold of the walking stick and branches out into the garden walks quietly on season’s path 28th February 2021
