Moonscape
Evening drifts into twilight's mist
As the golden sun goes down,
Upon the shore the waves persist
The dying sun, but a fading crown.
Golden orb of night's delight
Peeks out far beyond the sea,
In rhythmic sways the waves recite,
The song her shape causes them to be.
The night is but a melody of stars
Playing guitar riffs upon the waves,
The endless sounds of this repertoire
Are the sweet lullabies we crave
Luna leaves a glimmer as she rises high
And waves gleefully dance each time she sighs.
