The sun and the moon, together, watched over me night and day. In every kind of weather, they'd shine on the place where I play. So, why did the sun hurt the moon, up where she looks down from the sky, as the cracks in her palor shewn, and silvery tears she did cry. I gazed to the sky's lofty vault and watched helplessly as they fell. It must have been my selfish fault, her pieces to the sea, farewell.

Poor moon. It's sure to rise again. I enjoy the surprise ending and the tragic outcome.

Thanks for the light, and that for the nice comments. I noticed that you commented on a few poems that I wrote when I was in a certain mood, which doesn't happen too much. I'm glad you liked them.
