le pont japanaise a Giverny _Claude Monet

Monet's water lilies
    from his own garden
       in Giverny, France
he has painted a water pond with
    floating lilies
        and a blue Japanese bridge
all surround in hues of green
    with a loving interplay of water
       sunlight and colour
 and abstract swirls, strokes
       nothing contrived
all as if illuminated with light
    shadows are blended
       atmospheric strokes melt
with the flowing water
     creating drifting reflections
