Monday

Droplets of water sprinkle against the mud Veins and arteries flood with golden red blood It's a Monday and I'm feeling fatigued again It's a Monday - where has Sunday been? Monday is here So, have no fear Monday is a wandering deer In the forest of cheer Times tick on till the beginning of dusk...a grand sunset appears Times like these really fill you up with joy that reduces anyone to tears It's a Monday and I'm feeling quite out of it It's a Monday and it's a bit legit...I must admit just a bit Monday is here Let happiness appear Monday is drawing near...here... In this room of doom and fear I'm content, calm and reserved I'm much like a freedom bird I pray for life to remove the strife I have to move on right now I know that the past cuts like a knife I got to move forward somehow Water trickles down my face like a river flowing The wind whistles and whispers and echoes fill the atmosphere The wind is blowing to and fro while the stars are glowing Sensations marinate my body instantly with childlike cheer without a pinch of fear

Hi! I've been going through some of your poems, and I am quite impressed. I have noticed that there is a recurring trend: The acknowledgment of a none too perfect past, and the will to make a better life in the future. ~ Wishing you all the best. // paul
