Momma Said

Momma said always do what is right, Treat others as you would like to be treated And never start, but always end, the fight. Wait until everyone else at the table is seated Don’t be the first to snatch a serving dish Respond appropriately when you’re greeted, And remember you don’t always get your wish. Please always send your hostess a thank you note And stay in the game until it is finished. Momma said it is important to register your vote, Be sure you get your say in how things are done For part of the burden is yours to tote, And stay the course until the victory is won!

Your mother was a wise woman; she taught you all the basics and well! I wish each individual vote counted though.

Me, too. Yes, mother was very smart and very wise in so many ways, and she tried to teach us kids how to live a meaningful life.
