Mittens

Not to ruin the imagery Of the toddler Mis stepping a glove (so to speak) Little fingers join each other Leaving some finger spaces for another day For not yet do they require their own space These years are for snuggling together With the knowledge That they will find their place in time The mitten years are fleeting Quick and easy mitten You might impact on my dexterity But you add warmth Plus you are cute I love everything about you Sponsored by: John lawless Written 15 Dec 22

I loved this one and it was really one of my first few contests and I didn't really understand poetry or rules the noted the high calibre of entries and just kept trying! Thanks for your kind words, I'll check out your poem now :)
