Missing Piece

There’s a missing piece in my heart Held by your hands, where you are I look at the dark, black night sky And every hovering, sparkling star I know you are there, willing to care I’ve trusted the guidance of my soul The dreams, recollections and wishes All mixed together in swirls of color Like the Northern Lights waiting for me That keeps shining a familiar path in life The inspiration that never runs dry There’s a missing piece in my heart, That I find when I look up in the sky Heidi Sands 11/8/19

Love the premise of this Heidi. A missing piece that is found when staring to the sky. Such a beautiful thought that I can relate to.

As the years roll on...I think I'm missing a few more pieces...I guess that's life
