Missing Lover

missing lover whom i hope to discover with these words of desperation long hence i had been discarded and found my self broken hearted afraid to play the game anymore locked my love behind a door but i have found a new inspiration a kindness builds hopes instigations and once again i find myself believing in love hardly have i sought heaven above for the lack of one single solitary love one to give my words and deeds to satisfy this solitary need to give love and love recieve and not be disapointed or decieved i know now that it is a gift from God that from the heart comes the nod from the missing love who seem so far buryed deep with in a heart can distance close the gap abroad to a place so long sought that time had allmost forgot where wishes and prayers were allmost begot and come to the place where most have not the destiny, the place where fears are forgot hearing words begot of desperation of long long love sought can we rest our tired wings collect the things true love brings the hopes of things wanted best useless things like roses, rings kisses and hugs these are the things made of love my missing lover are these matters in your heart

A beautiful poem, John...one filled with hope and undeniable love. Rings and roses might be tokens of affection, but in reality when there is nothing beyond these gestures, they can mean very little. I'm sure Cupid will get wind of this piece, and fly off on a Valentine mission! Blessings to you and yours...wishing you the best!! Love, Mikki

This poem is a woman's dream, having someone that cares enough to write a poem, it is easy to run to the store, and buy something, but to write, wow, I love this write, and I am sure it will make someone happy. always, Christy
