Mind Games
Playing mind games everyday
What does that get us hurts only you
The one who runs the mouth
It ain't all about you it's all about them
What games you play when you are heading for the end
You be the only one that loses out
We go through our day
Like zombies at night
Praying on the weak
It's a game we all play
In some part of our lives
We want to roll first
We want to take them down
But I don't understand why
The games we play when love is at a close
Hurts only those around
The bigger picture is the one of a family before
It's not about pity choices
Who gets what
Who takes who to the cleaner
This game was played out of love
Out of the odds which weren't in your favor
But it does not have to end with an absolute victory
Because the price is to high
The ones who lose the biggest are your children
So look around just because the building has crumbled
Does not mean the foundation needs to fall to
Carry on and put the mind games aside
Because everyone has a chance to win when you play fair.
