Midnight River
Snow gracefully falling and
Collecting on branches
River of midnight blue
Snowflakes drifting on the currents
Like stars in a night sky
The crisp smell of melting snow on
A clear morning
The layers of a blank paper
Caving under the weight
Of my feet
