Midnight Rendezvous - For Contest
Midnight Rendezvous
I have slept with watermelon
caressed the firm curvaceousness,
lustily bathed in scented
come-on of baking bread,
kissed gently the smooth fuzz
of sun warmed, stolen, peaches,
tasted the salty sting
of clandestine rendezvous,
darkened room, refrigerator moonlight,
succulent secret moments
passion’s fruit
satiation’s lip licking climax
dripping on my bare chest,
tantalizingly tickling
a depleted six-pack.
The refrigerator door closes,
a dark guilt follows me
back to bed.
