Metaphor of My Face
METAPHOR OF MY FACE
Search for metaphor of my face
ponders over perfect preface,
starting from baby’s innocence
promoting on adolescence,
carving lines of experience
yielding mature profile to place.
Wrinkles- creases: Aging process.
When blooming youth left, could not guess.
Propagating through changing phase.
Struggling in life, running on race,
Crisscross in joy-grief weaving lace.
Yet old face showing elegance
to transcend on dead face in grace.
completing metaphor of face.
